Core Drilled Stainless Steel Base

If you need a bolt down base without a base plate taking up floor space, you need the 6710 core base. These bases are fixed to the floor by core drilling. Core drilling is a process in which a special drill bit is used to remove a cylindrical piece 4" deep from a concrete floor. This enables the column, which has an addition 4" in length, to be inserted into the hole and cemented or grouted in permanently. Please note: This kind of bolt down installation is usually done by a licensed builder or a company that specializes in core drilling.
